Blaze of Glory for Kelli’s MINI

Just minutes before seeing Tony Hawk perform a MINI-inspired skateboarding stunt in a high-flying send off for MINI TAKES THE STATES 2014, MINI Motorer Kelli Creighton was presented with a coveted special edition skateboard designed by the skateboard star himself.

Despite some stiff competition from hundreds of individually personalized and beautifully prepared MINIS lined up for the start of the 5,200-mile cross-country rally in San Francisco, Kelli’s highly distinctive MINI was presented with the special board after MTTS organizers chose to award her the first ‘Car of the Day’ prize of the rally.

Kelli, of Houston, Texas, calls her 2008 MINI Cooper S ‘Blaze’ after its flame-effect graphics and she was clearly delighted with this perfect start to her rally.
