Deep in the Heart of Texas

Over 1,000 MINI Motorers partied under the stars in the hip city of Austin after MINI TAKES THE STATES 2014 passed through the heart of Texas on the sixth leg of the coast-to-coast rally.

Having covered almost 2,400 miles since leaving San Francisco, the rally arrived in the Texas state capital after a 405-mile drive from the city of Lubbock.

Earlier, over 300 MINIs hit the road on the third longest leg of the 5,200-mile rally as it passed through the city of Brady, known as the geographical heart of Texas, and the rolling hills of Austin.

The next morning, MINI Motorers met at the impressive Capitol Building, once known as the seventh largest building in the world,  for an early morning Rise and Shine gathering  before continuing their drive through the second largest state in the Union and on to the city of Dallas.
