MINI Motorers Pass 3,000-mile mark on MTTS 2014

As MINI TAKES STATES 2014 crossed the mighty Mississippi River and rolled in Memphis, Tennessee, the coast-to-coast rally passed the 3,000-mile mark since it departed from California on July 27.

The second longest stage of the rally took the MINI Motorers from Dallas, Texas, into Tennessee and the home of the blues and the birthplace of rock ‘n’ roll, passing through the state of Arkansas on the way.

After stops in Texarkana, where the main street is split by the border of Texas and Arkansas, and the Arkansas state capital of Little Rock, Motorers arrived in Memphis and had a chance to party at the famous Silky O’Sullivan’s in historic Beale Street in the city.

Thousands of revellers in Beale Street enjoyed a large display of MINIs owned by Memphis MINI owners and other cars that are taking part in MTTS.

The ninth stage of the rally sees the MINIs heading north through the beautiful Ozark Mountains and ends in the city famous for the soaring majesty of the St. Louis Arch.
