What an arresting sight

The charming town of Ridgeway, South Carolina (pop. 328), is the home to the world’s smallest police station.

The tiny facility experienced what was surely its largest-ever number of visitors in one day (none of them under arrest of course!) when hundreds of motorers on MINI TAKES THE STATES 2016 stopped for a tea break in the town on the 320-mile first leg of the rally.

Many took time to check out the tiny tourist attraction and to meet with Ridgeway police officer Chris Culp, including Mark Ryan and Teresa Flores of Phoenix, Arizona.  They learned that he doesn’t have to work in the record-breaking police station but instead he is based in a slightly larger, more modern building right next door.
