1000 MILES DOWN AND OVER 3000 AHEAD ON MINI TAKES THE STATES 2016

Atlanta… Charlotte… Richmond… Baltimore… Pittsburgh. MINI motorers have already driven through five cities and six states on MINI TAKES THE STATES 2016.

On the fourth day of the epic cross-country rally, the participants passed the 1000 mile mark on the 4,400-mile motoring adventure to Palm Springs, California.

After leaving the harbor city of Baltimore, guided by a police escort from the city’s police force, hundreds of MINIs drove US Highway 30 on what is known as ‘Main Street across America’ to the steel city of Pittsburgh.

This section of the route from Maryland had a somber tone, giving motorers the chance to visit Gettysburg cemetery and battleground and the Flight 93 National Memorial, before attending an evening meet at the Highmark Stadium alongside the Monongahela River in Pittsburgh.

The next leg of the journey takes in the motor city of Detroit, Michigan, as the route continues its way to the northern states of the USA.
