TWO MINIs WITH ONE HORSE POWER EACH!

A different kind of ‘Mini’ was brought out to greet motorers when they arrived at Meadows Racetrack in Pennsylvania for the Rise and Shine event on Day Five of MINI TAKES THE STATES.

Two miniature horses – or ‘Minis’ as they are affectionately known – were brought to the harness horse racing track in Washington County to meet enthusiasts of their automotive namesake. The equine Minis proved to be a big hit with the hundreds of motorers as they prepared to depart on their 326-mile drive to Detroit, Michigan.

Eight year old Pickles and 14-year old Lady were brought to the track by their keeper Amanda Shaw, of Scenery Hills, PA, and her son Mason.

The American Miniature Horse Association states that any horse registered by the Association cannot exceed 34 inches in height measured from the last hairs of the mane. Compact and perfectly formed – just like the other MINI!
