MTTS ATTRACTS A GROWING NUMBER OF FIRST-TIMERS 

As MINI TAKES THE STATES attracts record numbers of participants, the epic cross-country rally consequently draws in an increasing number of motorers who are new to the MINI brand and who are joining MTTS for the first time.
 
One of those is Deane Vedder, of Yuma, Arizona, who signed up for his first MINI TAKES THE STATES shortly after buying his first MINI just a year ago.
 
Describing his feelings about MTTS 2016 after completing five legs of the 14-day marathon driving adventure, he told MINIUSANEWS.com: “I’m absolutely loving it!”
 
“My dealer first told me about MINI TAKES THE STATES and when I joined SoCal MINI Maniacs and heard more about it, I thought if they can do it, so can I,” said Deane, “I signed up for the next MTTS as soon as I could.”
 
“So far, it has been awesome and I’ve loved meeting the people who want to drive on this amazing rally,” added Deane, who is going all the way on the 4,400-mile drive between Atlanta, Georgia, and Palm Springs, California, passing through 15 cities and 19 US states.
