50,000 MILES ON THE CLOCK – AND THAT'S JUST THE COLLIE!

Woodcliff Lake, NJ,  July 13, 2016. MINI TAKES THE STATES regulars Fred and Kim Pacolitch have been inundated with requests from motorers to say hello and to stroke their three dogs who have joined them on MTTS 2016.

So, they decided to turn their dogs' popularity to good use and to help #DefyHunger by asking for a small financial contribution to the Feeding America charity every time a motorer asks to pay attention to their cute dogs.

Fred and Kim, of Thornhurst, PA, are riding to California with their Golden Doodles, Cerise and Sundance, and their Collie, Siobhan, who, like Fred, is a four-time veteran of MTTS. The collection got off to a great start when Fred and Siobhan greeted motorers at the Rise & Shine meeting at the M1 Concourse in Pontiac, MI.

Siobahn and Fred will pass two memorable milestones during MTTS 2016. After visiting 47 of the contiguous US states, Fred will finally tick off his 48th state when the 4,400-mile rally briefly passes through the state of Nebraska.

And Fred said that Siobahn was becoming equally well-travelled, estimating that upon completion of MTTS 2016, she will have travelled around 50,000 miles around the country, most of them in their MINI.
