MTTS 2016 IS NOW OVER HALF WAY TO CALIFORNIA

Motorers on MINI TAKES THE STATES 2016 traversed the width of the cheese state of Wisconsin on day eight of the 4,400-mile coast to coast rally and passed through the half way point of the journey at the same time.
 
Around 1,400 MINI enthusiasts in over 650 MINIs embarked on the 323-mile journey from Green Bay, WI, to the Twin Cities of St. Paul and Minneapolis, MN.
 
The epic cross-country drive through 15 cities and 18 states, which started in Atlanta, GA, on July 9 heading for Palm Springs, CA, has now reached its 10th US state on the journey after covering 2,284 miles.
 
After the first seven days, in which the rally moved north from Georgia to Michigan, drivers and passengers really felt that the journey west had begun as they drove to the banks of the Mississippi River and enjoyed a spectacular drive along the Great River Road into the city of St. Paul.
 
After the Twin Cities, the cars continue their journey westwards with a 221-mile drive across Minnesota’s Dairy Land and on to the eastern edge of South Dakota, where the city of Sioux Falls awaits.
